Ask Alo 37 - Chipping Away

Exposure. Saturation. The sheer bubbly, adorable, nice, enthusiastic, accepting, wonderful, bouncy, friendliness of young Lilly. That is how she broke me out of my protective "bubble."

We often joke that the Universe conspired to bring us together, and it certainly seems like it. Our school put us together in the official check ins and such. We chose classes that ended up being too small for one grade and so were mixed together. And of course she just kept running into me.

I found out years later she did this with a lot of people. Spreading herself so thinly around the people that wanted to be alone. Those that sat alone in the corners. Ate their lunches in the class rooms. She had, and continues to have, so much love to give... no one had to be alone.

It's been a while! I'm thinking of making Ask Alo's every week or every other week from now on. But that's just a pondering.
